The beef in almost all kinds is tough, horribly tough; I cooked spare ribs for 6 hours next to another batch from a local meat market. The meat market ribs fell off the bone, the HEB kangaroo or whatever the hell it is remained so incredible tough you cannot even eat it. Absolutely the worst meat and no possible way to tenderize it other than boiling for a month in..maybe rattlesnake venom. Never again will I buy meat from HEB. It’s a dadgum shame. DISGUSTING.
