Beautiful store! But you cannot take photos!?!?!? Cozy!
Reading all the reviews from 2016 has made the store better and more sufficient for their customers. This store was needed downtown. Their pizza happy hour is the bomb. While eating pizza and drinking beer on the patio, watching people walking from their hotels and apartments in the area was awesome to see.
I'm really glad to have a gas station within a half mile of the downtown area and it carries everything you need (HEB brands mostly). I think the store epitomizes the "convenience" store. If I was staying at a nearby hotel, I'd definitely appreciate the location and ready-to-heat meals. I like to refer to it as "Little Centro" HEB because it has some of the ambience of a Central Market and is in the heart of San Antonio (el Centro).
PERFECT SIZE AND LOCATION for downtown. Saves a trip to Central Market. Great selection, and the same prices as other locations. Also, excellent customer service and always willing to consider adding a product not in their current inventory.
Pretty cool store for it being my first time there. I felt like the admin was a Robot and not human being at the time of checkout. As I been to other H-E-B they we're more energetic and they made more Of effort to connect with me as a customer.
