Worst service in NW – The reviews all say to try a fish bowl drink- watch them make one, and it's 3/4 ice, mostly juice and cheap mixers with a splash of real alcohol in it, for WAY too much money for that little alcohol. Yes, they're large, no, they're not worth it. The karaoke stage is a joke, a tiny little area that's crowded. No real room for dancing or even socializing comfortably. At the bar, a server told me to back up because I was too close to her and she's claustrophobic. What the hell?? Why in the world is she wor... read more

There are numerous fights and screaming/yelling drunk fools out in the wee hours of the night. I have seen various people coming and going out of the back door... this place gives me the creeps. Inside it's dark and seedy - which is good on some occasions - but I think this place has outworn its welcome. I have seen so many fights out of my apartment windows, I have seen so many drunk drivers pulling out of the parking lot - last night I saw many police cars, a fire truck, and an ambulance pulling someone away on a stretcher... read more

Sticky & Unpleasant – Broken seats, slap-dash service, and an atmosphere that reminds one of the date-rape basement of a frat house does not put the Gypsy in high regard for this critic. The once pleasantly seed Gypsy Joker biker bar circa 1978, has become a ghost of its former glory. Gone is any flavor of authenticity. Replaced by sloppiness and yuppies playing pool. I don't mind gentrification when it lead to quality, but the Gypsy's transformation had led nowhere.

Staff is great, clientele are wastes of space – Had such a unique experience with three men outside at closing time. I was waiting for a ride and had a conversation with one in particular who was hell bent on finding out my opinion regarding who was "my type" between the three of them. Once I made it clear that none of the douches were my type, I had the pleasure to hear the profound opinion of the biggest piece of ****. Apparently was a **** tease and my ***** was "smelly". I walked away quickly feeling sufficiently threate... read more

nice place to drown in a fish bowl – Two fights in one night...cheesy decor. Frat crowd, went across the street to Muu-Muu's, had a much better time.

If the smell of this place doesnt make you want to leave the service and the people that drink there will. Filled with novice drinking jocks and it smells like a toilet mint.

Normal bar, nothing special – Typical bar. Not trendy, not a dive. Just a good place to go for some drinks with friends. The drinks are reasonable, and service is pretty good. I've found that the service on the south side, is much better than the service on the north side. Not sure why that would be, but it's always been the case.

Awesome Happy Hour, Food and Drink – Great place to start off your night of bar hopping. Great staff: frinedly, helpful with drink ideas or thoughts, not too pushy or bothersome while enjoys time with your friends. Awesome happy hour menu and a drink list that never ends. Lots of off the wall drink combos that sound odd but are actually really good. Food is great and never takes long to be served. Not too expensive either. Low key enough to talk or with friends.
