Dr. Rao is an excellent doctor. I had a laparoscopic myomectomy and she did a great job. Northside hospital was excellent also.
DO NOT go here if you suspect you have endometriosis unless you want to pay thousands of dollars to be told it's all in your head. Please go see an endometriosis specialist. I had laparoscopic surgery through GYN Surgical Specialists to diagnose possible endometriosis in October, and my experience has been physically and emotionally traumatizing. I wish I never had surgery with Dr. Rao, who barely took 20 minutes on the operating table before deciding that I needed to do more research on the mind-body connection to get to th... read more

Dr. Rao and her nurse are absolutely amazing! The last gyn i went to before her made me feel like all my problems weren’t real and told me my pain wasn’t that bad. Dr. Rao validated my issues and quickly moved me forward to get necessary procedures done to figure out what was wrong. She is incredibly kind and knowledgeable as well as helps you understand everything. 10/10 surgeon and doctor!!
