I brought my car to Honda of white plains for service. They solicited me to buy my car. After they had the car for a week I came in and sold them the car I signed my title to them and they promised to mail me a check. A week later I received an email they didn’t want the car anymore. I already turned in my plates and now they won’t pay.
Well I wrote a review five days ago, and just like other reviews I have read this dealership does not return phone calls or reply to a review. My wife has called over a week ago and no reply.
I had my car towed into t this dealership on the 30th of Oct because of it being vandalized & one of the things I requested was that the seat to be detailed because of all the rain that came through the broken window, upon receiving my car back , I noticed that my flowers from my son’s, brother & dad funeral that I had placed above the dashboard in my car was gone …. Just want to let anyone know that is looking at a used car at Renton Honda.To be sure to check every little detail about the car even like the door locks with your key.my wife purchased a 2017 HRV,she loves the car not to happy with the dealership,the battery on her car died that she had to lock the doors, well the next day we could not get in the car.It cost us 150.00 to get the car opened up for us because the key they gave us would not unlock the door.So we went to Renton Honda and they said to bring it in and they would ... read more
In negotiations for a new car we talked about an offer for my trade in. After I got home I looked at the bill of sale and saw two things. First, I was given less for the trade in than discussed. Second, the car I bought, was sold to me over MSRP. You might think that dealerships can do that and they can, but not when they advertise the car for a price which was my case (google bait and switch) and sell it for another. So in a nutshell don’t look at the prices in their website, that means nothing. Buy somewhere else.
October 30, 2023 On July 31, 2023, I purchased a 2020 HV from Grieco Honda in Johnston, RI. The first untruth was that all Hondas come with remote starters. This was not true. The second untruth that was stated, when I asked the salesman where the car came from, and he replied, our New York store. It actually came from an auction in PA on 7/13/23. My long time friend Sharlene went here looking for a used car almost a year ago. She worked with a nice lady but unfortunately she ended up with a piece of crap car. A 2015 Kia Sportage. She has reached out to the owner several times asking for a resolution to be pushed off like there is no problem with the car. She even went right back into Honda and the owner refuses to take responsibility. The engine has a recall which the engine has to malfunction twice before Kia will replace it.
