Went in for intense eye pain (felt like something was in there scratching my cornea) at 915pm. Wasn’t seen until midnight and then didn’t leave until 345am. They couldn’t find anything and took over 6 hours to tell me. 0/10 do not recommend

I am a patient who just got out of that joint. Yesterday, Sunday, February 23, I called the ambulance in the wee hours of the morning for acute abdominal pain (kidney stone) and made the bad decision to ask to be taken to that hospital. The doctors in charge of the emergency room have NO HUMAN SENSE. They lack empathy. They may have the best facilities and hard working staff, but the human quality of the doctors is abysmal. If I could give this hospital a zero rating, I would. Unfortunately, I had to give it at least one star to leave a review. I cannot believe how inhumane the staff can be. People can sit in a room for three hours without anyone coming to check on them. The staff is rude, fails to communicate, and often ignores requests for assistance when someone is in pain or has a fever. They see a patient with low potassium that hasn’t been able to sleep and go “sweet! Mental health patient!” This has happened twice now… I noticed it happening again, realized I was having symptoms of low potassium and that it was mimicking the times before… At least I have insurance this time so I can actually go to urgent care instead of letting it get so bad I end up in an ER.
