Earlier today (3/19/25), I had an appointment for an annual screening mammogram. I had been to this facility for mammograms/ultrasounds previously. Today was just the regular screening mammogram, and today I was on the opposite side of the facility as in the past. The receptionist who greeted me was very pleasant and helped me get signed in as normal. However, the customer service and patient care was sketchy beyond that point. Was here for a mammogram on the 11th of November 2025. I made full payment of 339 out of pocket hoping I will not get another bill in the mail. The following week, I got a surprise bill for 349. I called to asked why I was getting another bill, they told me the 339 I paid in the office is different from the 349 bill that was sent. They told me, the 349 is for their physician to read or explain the results to me. Firstly, no one ever called me from their office. I recently had a breast biopsy here. All the staff was great. My only issue I had was I called a few weeks before to get the CPT codes for the procedure so I can call my insurance. When I arrive to get registered I was told my responsibility was over $1,000 over what the insurance companies quoting me. It was actually quite a pain to even get CPT codes or how much my responsibility was. I probably had to make 20 different phone calls. That is unacceptable.
