I am originally from Va and moved to Fl about 2.5 years ago. I got engaged and came up to Richmond to do some gown shopping with my family who still all reside in Va. After finding THE dress, I picked Gwar-Bar to grab some lunch since it’s been on my bucket list since you all opened. The atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The food was amazing! I felt like Mark in Empire Records, just totally consumed by the imagery and music
The food was great and the establishment was clean.
Another cool niche place for good beer and interesting food. I chose a big burger with lots of stuff on it, but the best was pork gravy that you might think odd, but no. It was very tasty and tied things together. I took off a star because the brunch menu was a bit narrow and geared more to breakfast IMHO. Still I want to go back for the dinner selections!
