Showed up at my house with no appointment or notice at all. Bad communication, would avoid. This roofer showed up to my house unannounced and with no appointment. I didn’t know who they were so I told him he could not get on the roof. He kept pushing and saying he was going to anyway, but I told him since I had no idea who he was that I was uncomfortable with that. These people did the same to us as what was reported below. Asked for payment in full so they could order materials. We were stupid enough to do it. They removed our roof and then continually switched the date to apply the new tiles. No show after No show after No show. We finally had to get another roofer to complete our project and GW kept all of our money and never gave us our materials. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had especially being in the construction industry and working with plenty roofing companies... They were quick to take the 50 percent deposit upfront which we didn't have a problem with, but there was delay after delay.... it took them over a month to complete and anytime you reached out it would literally take you reaching out multiple times just to get an answer on what the status of the roof was... This secretary has made false statements. We asked early on to speak to the owner but could never talk to her "boss". One of their employees removed our permit from the front door and used it as a note when our inspection was scheduled. We were told they would never do that but that quickly changed when we sent pictures as proof of what they had done. The deposit was not received until December 7th. Per contract.
