I had been a patient back in 2022 which granted was during covid, so I thought the practice and lack there of customer service on their part being non existent was due to covid. I was going to Georgetown OB which is also medstar too and let me say this do not waste your time here at the GW OB. I was told from Georgetown that GW would do my tube tying while at the hospital after giving birth vaginally which I found out not to be true. Trash I called them six times today just to be on a run around and the only thing I was doing was changing my location to pick of medication and it seem everyone was clueless and didn’t know how to do there job.
I have been assisting my wife to be seen for abnormal symptoms that may have required a specialist to assist. These people here will not do anything for you and treat you according to your insurance. I cannot state enough how frustrated we are and how messed up this practice is with inadequate physicians and students who are approaching patients as if they were conducting experiments for research. Dr Farhi didn’t listen, stuck to her script and asked me if I had a history of disordered eating because I was concerned about my excessive weight gain first tri -16 lbs (history of preeclampsia and 80lb weight gain with prior pregnancy). Seems focused on ideology vs individualized care. Very disappointed bc GW was recommended. no thank you! Front desk staff and everyone else was great but I’m too concerned with her competency.
