Don't let Kelly make your reservations, she'll forget to put it in the computer. We sat at the bar. Kim provided great service, she has a fun personality and makes a good Bloody Mary. The food was good - eggs, hash browns biscuit and gravy - although, the elk sausage was very tough. My son enjoyed his alligator burger.
My family took me here for mothers day. There was maybe three tables filled and we still waited 10 minutes to be seated. The food took forever and it was all gross. The dinner salad had rotten tomatoes and olives. The ribeye was cooked to coal, and the mashed potatoes had dirt in them. The beer is warm, silverware dirty, and never received the dinner rolls. Also, the table behind us was a mess from previous gest and sat a mess the whole time we were there..
We went there a couple weeks ago and it sucked, again! I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. Literally 45 minutes goes by, no food! The place was almost empty too! Then the waitress came and said they made 2 grilled sandwiches. My boyfriend said it was fine, he was starving! I’ve been eating at GW Hunters for years and honestly today was the best service I’ve had in a very long time!!! The service was great and my server Jessica was absolutely amazing she was by far the best waitress I’ve had in years!!!! I will definitely be back like always!!! And I highly recommend everyone else to go to GW Hunters BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!

Employees are rude, very unorganized needless to say the food wasn’t the greatest. On top of it all my daughter got something off the kids menu and it states “vanilla ice cream upon request” we ordered at 11 o’clock I then asked if she could get her ice cream and our server says “oh we don’t normally do that” well it should be specific on the menu when you can and can’t request it. Don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon. Employees need to be trained better.
