Im a patient in room 562 the works was very rude they did not want to help especially after i got out of surgery.. i asked for regular pain killers because my pain was 10/10 .. they ignored me and when i started getting frustrated because of my pain the cna told mr you lucky to still be here in a sarcastic way .. gw hospital is really the worst hospital.. all of us patients be are im pain while they taking they time .. if call someone everytime it takes them a hour im sorry but this hospital needs new workers thats there to ... read more
This is a tough place to come if you need urgent care but aren’t immediately on death’s doorstep. Seen pretty quickly for the initial evaluation, but then had to wait 10 hours for care since a lot of people show up here who are really really sick. The staff/ doctors/ nurses are great, I just wish they would’ve told us when we showed up that we were likely to be there 12 hours and overnight, because we might’ve decided to just go somewhere else. They said a 10 hour wait was normal. Posting this so others can be aware going in... read more

I don't know how they do it. I came in yesterday evening pretty banged up and received excellent care. Everyone was friendly and efficient despite what seemed like a flood of patients. Shout outs to Dr. Sarani, Dr Macinowski (sp?), Resident Halpern, Intern Steph and the kind nurses and technicians!
