Doctor suggested I can easily get my blood work done that day in the same building! Convenient! Did not mention they would be robbing me blind on the costs. When I tried to fight the bill with Guthrie, they said it was my responsibility to understand they have an obscure law posted on their website, that apparently I should have been searching for while I was getting my physical. I wish I could give zero stars, one shouldn't have to worry about getting screwed over by their health care provider.
I am very impressed with the new facility and have to laugh when I read several reviews from people claiming they have been coming to it for over a year saying its terrible. Given that it just opened I don't see how thats possible. The facility is clean, organized and the staff has been very good to me. I have had no issues getting in to see my doctor. In fact, they have gone to great lengths to both listen and help me. I have had issues with guthrie in the past but this place has made up for them.
The doctors are friendly, professional, and thorough. The center is a beautiful new building with friendly and caring staff. I recommend this medical clinic.
Dont even bother. Place is a joke. Theyll be your last hope and resort for getting your 4 yr old child the help and screenings they need for school. And theyll leave you high and dry. Turning you away. Even if youre a loyal patient for over a decade but family is no longer considered patients there bc we moved 35 mins away and the kids go to their school based health as needed. Talk about huge advocates for literacy huh?
I would like a genuine answer as to why is it so difficult to see your primary care doctor? My wife called the third week in August to make an appointment. Was told November 18th. Almost 3 months. She asked to be placed on a cancellation list and the appointment has now been moved to November 13th. She called primary care with complaints and requesting to be seen again and was advised she would have to go to the emergency room.
