ER nurses are rude, judgemental, and petty. This hospital has a terrible reputation for a reason. If its an emergency, you're better off driving to Ithaca.
Useless, say they “have six patients” when really they’ve been in the back eating six breakfast sandwiches from Mc Donald’s for over an hour.
The registration lady, Robin?, had a Virgin Mary clendar and told Jesus stories while checking me in, wasting my time and unsettling me before my procedure. I thought for sure this wasn't a religious institution. Other than that one innappropriate and annoying person I felt my level of care was excellent. The nurses and technicians were outstanding - really nice and comforting. I would recommend Guthrie to others.
Labor & Delivery: They were absolutely amazing. I cannot express in words enough how amazing they made mine & my partners first experience there. ALL the nurses from every shift were incredible as well as Doctor Claire. There was so many things I was nervous about during my induction & they were all so helpful, patient, caring, respectful, soothing.. literally just everything. There isn’t a single thing I could complain about or say they could do better.
