I am a 78-year-old woman who had a double hip replacement performed by Dr. Fischer 7 weeks ago. For the previous year+ I experienced increasing pain and decreasing mobility. I was in a wheelchair for the last 9 months and was taking heavy meds to combat the pain. I was also without a diagnosis so there was nothing positive on the horizon. Dr, Fischer and Isaac are great. Surgery was fantastic. The office personnel are terrible. Calls don't get returned timely or at all. Billing office doesn't have any follow up

The US healthcare system is broken in many ways. However at Multnomah Orthopedic, I felt like I was being listened to, my concerns were heard and solutions offered. The front desk is prompt, courteous and patient. Isaac Obeg, PA, was so kind and communicative. Dr. Fischer educated me on my results and had options to fix my pain and range of motion issues that did not include an immediate jump to a surgical solution. I appreciate their approach.
My husband has a referral to see Dr Fischer but over the last month he has not been able to talk with anyone in the office. He has called at least 12 times and left messages. Very poor service.
As with my previous hip issue in 2019, which resulted with outstanding results, today’s appointment went really well. All of the office staff, X-Ray technician, Dr. Fischer’s PA, and my time with Dr Fischer was outstanding.
This was my second hip replacement with Dr Fischer. He is only ortho surgeon in pdx using the direct superior method. However, there are a number in the Boston medical community. This is a less invasive procedure, and and extremely thankful i found him to both hip replacements.
Very pleasant and friendly people. Both the assistant and Dr. Fischer made me feel at ease. My situation was discussed in an informative manner. I felt like I was listened to.
I always feel comfortable with the information Dr Fischer gives me.He is great to work with in solving my issues. Thank you,
