One of the highlights of summer in Pocasett is filling my cart at Mashpee Commons Gustare. 2015's hallelujah is the Milanese Gremolata EVOO. It's what fresh would taste like if you could bottle it. Loving it on faro pasta or any hearty grain fresh pasta, with summer tomatoes, baby spinach, and toasted walnuts. Wow! Another pantry staple is the blood orange EVOO. I can hardly eat a salad without it. Not to mention the brownie recipe I was given in the store that calls for the blood orange oil. AMAAAAZE...
Great shop with a chance to do some serious taste-testing of some very interesting olive oils and vinegars. Such fun!!

I first discovered Gustare Oils & Vinegars in Chatham this June while on vacation. It was so exciting to taste all the different products. I felt like it was a candy store for grown-ups. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I purchased about 10 different vinegars and oils and started to use them at least twice a week in my cooking. I have used them on vegetables, fish, meat, and salads. It is also nice to have new receipts available on-line. I will definitely return to taste more but I will go to the store in Wellesley.
