About Us: Guse Christmas Trees is a family owned and operated business. In 1965 Howard Guse, founder, planted 2 acres of Scotch pine one by one with a shovel. The family business then sold their first tree in 1976. During the first few years the business was operated out of a 2 car garage, and since then it has grown to occupy a 48'x68' building which is quickly becoming to small. Former employee. It hurts to hear that the owner has passed. I worked there for 5 years as an outdoor employee for money during high school and it was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. The atmosphere, family ownership, and sense of pride working there was awesome. I always woke up excited to start the work day there. One of the best places in northwest Indiana for a great winter time job.
We’ve been going here a few years now, and we always leave happy. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and we always find the perfect tree.
this was our second year coming to Guse Farms for our tree, and my husband and I have already talked about making this a tradition in our home! Such a great group of people working, love supporting a family business!
Our annual trip to cut down a tree. They added a new building for weddings and events. Very nice.
We have gone here for at least 8 years to cut our tree 🌲! Trees are always beautiful & long lasting-we get the Frazier tree. They shake & wrap tree for you. Gift shop is nice. Santa pics, sleigh rides w/ horses! Always a good time!! Thanks!
loved the wagon ride ...the horses were beautiful and so were the tree fields...loved the gift shop and of course santa!! what a wonderful experience...definitely puts you in the Christmas spirit!!
Great trees and ample variety plus, new building with great crafts and bathrooms plus in original building, free cocoa and other snack items to buy!
Absolutely enjoy every visit...one of our favorite holiday traditions!
