What went well was my visit with Dr Gus Kalioundji. He is outstanding, he talked to me about my pain, he explained what was happening, he was encouraging and gave me hope. I thought I was going to have this pain in my back for the rest of my life. He explained what he could do and what my role would be, and it’s importance of being part of the solution. Very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Has great empathy and also speaks Spanish.
The previous review of the doctor being a emotionless robot is extremely accurate !! The doctor does not care about the patients health, well being or emotional stress. Patients are treated as numbers both by the doctor as well as his staff. He also thinks he is "better" than you because he is a doctor. Avoid this Doctor at all costs !!! Dont even know why Kaiser employs people with such apathy in a field that requires a human connection.
