Dr. Gialamas quickly figured out I had a torn ACL after another surgeon didn't catch it. Performed surgery with great results. Thorough and always listens. I will only go to him in the future.

I was experiencing chronic shoulder pain for four months. After about 15 questions, Dr. Gialamas ran both my shoulder through about 20 different exercise positions and comparing both of my shoulders strength and weaknesses. He intensely listened to my answers with asked more detailed questions when needed. I did not at all feel rushed. Dr. Gus is one the best surgeons I have ever had! He was in Utah and flew back two days before Christmas with his family, to help me in an emergency. Doctors just don’t do that anymore for their patients. I trust his work 110% as he fixed a surgery on me that had gone terribly wrong. He answers all questions and takes so much time explaining his plan of what he is going to do and why. He changed my life and I can now walk normally again, something that so many said were out of the question.

I can't understand these bad reviews for Dr. Gialamas. He was wonderful to me. I broke my arm and had to go through surgery when I lived in Laguna Hills. I never felt that he rushed through my visits and he was very easy to talk to. Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach was also a great hospital with a wonderful staff. I have recommended Dr Gialamas to my family and now that I'm living in Nevada I would travel to be treated by Dr Gialamas if I needed an Orthopedic surgeon again.

Dr Gialamas is a no nonsense ortho here in SC. He repaired my ACL, MCL, Meniscus injury with outstanding results. Being that I was 47 when i had the injury and was back on the soccer field within a year. It is holding strong as I celebrate my 2nd year sense the surgery...

My experience was with dr gialamas as the orthopedic doc on call when I was in the hospital. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Another reviewer mentioned his purposely turning his back and walking away while being asked an appropriate question. Same behavior here. Even worse he seemed to have made questionable medical decisions (as indirectly confirmed by nurses, other docs, PT staff) based more on his convenience than my wellbeing. I would strongly recommend choosing another doc.

I cannot say enough about how BAD this doctor is & I would only recommend him for death row inmates. Not only is he the rudest doctor I've met, his lack of listening & answering Important questions led to a serious mistake. In his rush to leave, he did not give correct instructions to the nursing staff to re-bandage my ankle correctly after a serious surgery (he filled in on day 2 for my real surgeon). On day 3 my surgeon was shocked to see my unprotected foot. Dr G is unethical & incompetent!!

I have never experienced such a disrespectful uncaring rude doctor!! He never looked at my MRI results until he abruptly walked into the room after I waited over 45 minutes to see him. Gialamas didn't give me 5 minutes and walked out of the room as I told him to wait as I had a question. Once again he turned his back and yelled "I don't have much use for chiropractors " ask a surgeon!! He is a surgeon! This is unethical behavior!!!
