My wife and I took the private sunset sail for our 8th anniversary. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Beautiful views and actually sailing the channel. We've been on quite a few of the cattle/stack'em and pack'em catamaran tour boats and the GungHo, by far, has been the best experience. Intimate and you don't have the constant chatter of 40+ other patrons snapping their cameras and such. Do the Cattlemarans for snorkeling! Take the GungHo for sunset and whale watching!!! I've always wanted to sail and when a friend had shared Keahi's site I learned about his beginning sailing class. Just finished today. Great time! Three days of sailing & learning more than I can absorb. Keahi is a great teacher & the class is all that. From easy relaxed cruising to technical maneuvering to some pretty exciting downwind surfing! I'm going to get some friends together & do it again. Mahalo Keahi!
My husband rented this boat and it's Captain for a special sunset cruise in Lahaina waters!! As soon as we were out going down the channel he let me have the tiller the entire time we were out!! Thank you Keahi for my special time. Wanting to learn, wanting a small personal sail at sunset, want to experience a sail your way give Keahi a chance to do that for you!!! You will not regret it!!! For me it was well worth the cost for an intimate true sailing experience!!!
Wife and I were in Maui looking for a relaxed way to spend our evening. Kea and his craft were recommended to us by another crew at the Lahaina Marina. The small, intimate experience seemed like just the ticket. We called and he responded promptly and we booked online. We had a great time sailing with Gung ho! Excellent - Kea is such a patient teacher and fun guy to hang out with. Highly recommend boarding Gung Ho either for a sunset cruise with friends or a lesson or course to sharpen your skills.
