Keahi did an incredible job with our group. His knowledge and expertise were outstanding but even more important, Keahi was truly engaged and happy to be with our group.
Family time with Keahi on Gung Ho was awesome! He is the most chill captain we have ever sailed with. We swam, we took turns steering and we could help him sail during our 4 hour sail. Ali was great crew and sent us home with lots of wonderful photos and videos! Mahalo⛵️

I extended my Maui trip an extra week just so I could sail with the best. Keahi was sailing in the Newport-Bermuda Race on the East Coast and I waited for his return. I couldn’t have made a better decision. It was like getting a Ph.D. in sailing. This guy really knows his stuff. A true professional! Can you think of a better way to learning how to sail in the most beautiful place on earth. I can’t. I’m coming back for more... GungHo Sailing rules!

This isn’t your normal “sail and ride” sort of deal. During the majority of the voyage, I was personally manning the till and steering the boat. I also ended up parking the boat while the rest of my family helped raise and lower the sail. It was fully interactive and made for a very unique way to expirence sailing. If you really want to be sailing, this is it. As opposed to the cattle herd multihull experiences, Keahi actually lets you take the till and sails are up and sailing. Super nice guy. Owner/Operator. Grew up in Lahaina. Sailed growing up and all through UHawaii years. Fits 6 guests. Intimate. Fun. Can't say enough. Highly recommended.

Spent the day with Kea this week. Absolute blast. Great guy, knows his business. If you’re down for some fun, ask him to throw the huge front sail on....highly recommend.
