This was my first visit to Ortho Carolina Matthews and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the check in staff and the timeliness of being seen by Dr. Gullickson's nurse and Dr. Gullickson. I had been experiencing knee pain in both knees for about three months and was referred to Dr. Gullickson by my Primary care doctor who had ordered xrays and had them sent to Dr. Gullickson. Doctor Gullickson was to the point and wasn't ready to rush in to any conclusions. Testing first, then a course of action was necessary.
Dr. Gullickson provided an outlook on my knees now and in the future; and discussed a plan th maintain my knees.
It's so nice in these stressful times to be greeted with warmth. The office staff and tech were great. Dr. Gullickson quickly diagnosed my knee issue. It required a shot if cortisone and in spite of the pretty long needle I hardly felt it. He was great about explaining why the issue developed and was delightful to work with. I definitely recommend him and the Matthews OrthoCarolina Location. I hope you don't need it, but if you do, it is the place to be.

I love Dr. Gullickson. He has an outstanding bed-side manner. He is very knowledgeable and caring and easy to talk too. I’ve seen him for years and with this most recent visit, he remembered me although it had been over a year since seeing him. He is just a super doctor and he provides me with all the details I need for my condition.
