After losing my primary care Dr, to retirement I had to find a new Dr. I came down with a cold in my chest and went to see Dr. Shaver after explaining that I get this every year and it takes usually 2 rounds of Antibiotics to clear up. After a week taking the Antibiotics there was still no relief so I called there number and started jumping through hoops to leave the Dr, a message to get a refill on the Antibiotics. I’ve been going to Gulf Coast Medical Center for 5 years, my primary PA retired. He was very thorough and professional. was seen by a new Dr. First time visit after waiting 40 minutes, was “seen” for about all of 4 minutes gave me new medication and left the room, never touched me. Went to the er , just to find out I was supposed to take more than the new medication prescribed. At the follow up he blamed it on me because he checked his notes and clearly he wrote it down. Horrible customer service and staff. I will not go back there again. Constant issues with billing.
