Dr. Sclabas saw me on referral by my pcp for a mass on my back. He ordered appropriate imaging before my consult with him to get eyes on it and then had a plan of action when I came to his office. He made me feel at ease and was very good at explaining my treatment options. Surgery was yesterday and it went great! No complications so far and I have not even had to take the pain meds he prescribed. I would trust him again for sure!! Also- all the nurses I came into contact with at St Francis main were excellent. THANK YOU!
Excellent people skills. Very transparent in explan ing possible underlying complications, and reasoning for course of actions. Surgery, and recovery were successful, and timely. No longterm pain.
Dr. Sclabas is an amazing surgeon. I been in the care of many doctors over the years but this guy is the best at what he does. Always a ready smile and eager to explain in detail and never rushes the conversation. He takes special attention to you in your hospital stay with multiple visit to see how your recovery is doing. Excellent bedside manners.
Very seldom do I give 5 stars for anything. We absolutely loved Dr. Sclabas. He was very kind, knowledgeable and thorough with us and our entire families. We are blessed to have him on our team.
Don't recommend. Only after multiple emergency room visits and finally a 4 day hospital stay for an infection did he believe me that I was in need of medical care. Ended up being referred to the Mayo to have the surgery I needed.
