If you are in pain and want to be treated I would not call this doctor, now if you drive the right car and have really good insurance and come from the right zip code you'll be golden, otherwise move along. This guy is an absolute CLOWN ! Has the million dollar home and vacation home and needs more !!! Was out of the country numerous times upon me trying to get treatment from him. Dr. Marra repaired both of my husband's shoulders and now has repaired my son's shoulder as well. He is the consummate professional; informative, efficient, personable and most importantly a highly skilled surgeon. I have recommended many patients to Dr. Marra and have always had positive feedback about his practice from everyone who has had him care for their shoulder issues. I appreciate everything he has done for my family and recommend him without hesitation.
I had a total shoulder replacement and was a very difficult case. The doctor replaced my shoulder and within two months I was 90% healed. He is the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever seen. If I could give him 10 stars I would.
Dr Marra is an excellent doctor and extremely skilled surgeon. Dr Marra is very thorough with exam and fully explains treatment options with surgery being a last resort if other options fail. Very detail oriented in surgery prep and post op recovery protocol . Kind, caring, knowledgeable, excellent surgeon.
Dr. Marra performed an arthroscopic biceps tenodesis and rotator cuff repair on my right shoulder at the end of 2020. Before the surgery, I could not lift my arm above shoulder height without intense pain. In my consultation, Dr. Marra was confident that surgical repair would return nearly full range of motion, as long as I was diligent with the post-op physical therapy. My Rotator Cuff has been hurting for several years. Dr. Mara met with me and assured me he could repair it. I had the most incredible recovery and can't believe I waited so long to see him. If you have a need for shoulder surgery DO NOT WAIT! After surgery, Dr. Mara was able to remove the sling early and I feel GREAT. Seriously, Call him TODAY!
Had a complete shoulder replacement one year ago and am pain free and able to do all my activities without pain or discomfort. I’m glad Dr Marra was highly recommended to me by my physicians and I highly recommend him to anyone with any shoulder problems.
Dr Marra has to be the BEST shoulder doctor available in the midwest !!! I am 53 yrs old and suffer from degenerative joint disease from a previous injury. Dr Marra performed a complete shoulder replacement and I have pain free since the day of surgery. His staff is also amazing !!! They work together, like a fine machine. All questions were answered and I honestly felt special when talking to any of them....Ebony, Cheryl and Amy... you girls deserve a shout out for all that you do....
