Guiding Star is a hidden gem. Esther listened closely to me and took time to work on my problem areas. Her attention to detail was amazing. She gave me advice how to fix the pain under my shoulder blade, which I have been utilizing since the massage and my pain levels have dramatically decreased. She is amazing. She is more expensive than most, but you’re getting a quality massage that you won’t regret.

Esther has a very caring and professional demeanor, and gives massage with a healing touch. She really seeks to understand your body’s mechanics and where you are holding tension and tightness. Aside from giving one of the best massages I’ve had in many years, her space on the waterfront is very calming and therapeutic. One of my favorite things is the heated massage table and the overall comfort of the table…it instantly put my body and mind in a state of peacefulness and ease. Esther is a gifted healer, an incredibly skilled massage therapist and a compassionate human being. She is well versed in multiple massage modalities. The techniques she employs are extremely effective at relieving muscle tension, adhesions, and pain. I appreciate the variety of techniques, especially her deep tissue work. Her massage space is warm and welcoming, which supported the overall relaxation I felt from the session. I highly recommend Guiding Star Massage Therapy.
