I've been to been to all types of homes from Coeds, shelters, to Christian organizations.. If there was a place in Portland managed this well I would've been back on my feet years ago. Thanks Tom!
A lot of sober houses aren't what they say they are, but Guiding Light Sober Homes is different. I met friends at one of their houses, they helped me get my ID back and get on my feet, and I watched them open their doors to at least a dozen other renters who would say the same thing. Deke is so professional and kind hearted. I can't thank you guys enough! Definitely a safe place to stay with good management! I would recommend them to anyone!

Cool house with cool roommates and a cool landlord. What else could you ask for? Seriously, this is a good place if you want to get sober and get your life right. No one bothers you, and you'll probably meet a couple friends. Deke is the coolest, and the house manager at the property I rented from was very fair with everyone. No favoritism, no BS. Just down to earth people helping each other. :) Highly recommended!!!
