I'm editing my initial review of Guide property services, which was honest, but not great. The complaints I brought forward have been addressed in a timely and professional manner. I appreciate the owner's response as well as Dotty and her maintenance guy, Colin. I've never had an issue with the actual people... they haven't slowed down in being nice people. Our experience with Guide was brief yet frustrating. Guide took over management of our apartment complex in the middle of our final month on our lease. When we had questions about the final charges we owed, things when downhill quickly. The communication was so poor resulting in a lot of confusion. Multiple times I asked to get on a call after emails were moving slowly and was told that was not possible due to Guide wanting to have details documented in writing. Dotty has been amazing from the start. She’s extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding. She has taken extra time out of her day on many occasions to help with 3rd party assistance I was receiving. Colin is also great and super knowledgeable! He’s on top of anything needing repair or replacement. He’s very responsive and was already on-site when I was locked out of my apartment.
