We are really thankful to be in the service area so that we can be members. Between my parents and me, I have had GMEC service since I was born. If surrounding companies have prolonged outages, our crews have our power on LONG before the others. Some outages are inevitable, but even in our newer all-electric home (including our well water's pump), our home has NEVER been greatly inconvenienced in 17 years...so much so that we have provided shelter for friends who aren't as lucky to have such a great supplier.
