I have eaten here for prob for about 30. And over time lots of changes and turn over, probably ownership as well. We ate their just last night and it's apparent the quality has deteriorated and yet the prices continue to rise. After last night we don't plan to go back. Each visit over the last year has been disappointing. Sorry to see what use to be great food establishment, cutting corners and lowering their standards. Adios ......☹️ PS. I did not rate this excellent as it appears....
I've been eating there for 20+ years and love it. However, I was disappointed yesterday. They seemed to have changed the sweet tomato compote that they put on their steak sandwiches to something completely different and not as good. Plus, the steak pieces had a lot of gristle and my friend's baguette was so hard she couldn't eat it. But, I won't let one bad meal stop me as their food is generally consistently good.

Iconic LO restaurant that has history. Impeccable service, professional staff, and consistently phenomenal menu that has something appealing to everyone's palate. I consider myself lucky to have Gubancs so close to home.
First time here tonight, and already one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to. The burger I had was one of the best I've ever eaten, the menu is affordable, and the service was amazing. A nice little restaurant/pub with a friendly atmosphere and high end service. I'll be back for sure.
