Amazing Food! When driving up to Gubanc's you might not think too much of it. From the outside you see a dark building with few windows. With parking in the back you can't even tell if anyone is in there, but once you enter...Wow! You will be treated to some amazing food. Good find! I was referred to Gubanc's by a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't insanely over-priced like many places are in Lake Oswego. I got the chicken and dumplings which were good... and served searing hot, which is always a plus. The bread they served was delicious and the service was good. The servers weren't annoying and the food came out in a timely manor. We are glad we tried this place, and will definitely return in the future.
all i can say is mmmmmm I went here for the first time and the food was excellent. I had the monterey jack BLT. It was awesome, very much comfort food. But come early because this place gets packed. PROS: great food CONS: wait for a table and really busy
True Comfort Foods Gubancs has the best chicken pot pie I've had at a restaurant. My husband had the meatloaf. Both rivaled our mother's home cooking. This is a great place to go when you need some comfort food.
Where everybody knows your name! Looking for a "home away from home" atmosphere. Comfort home style cooking? Family owned and operated? Quiet ambiance, soft lighting, gentle music. Look no further! Gubancs is your spot. I hold all my business lunches here, my lunch bunch club meets here once a month. The homemade soups change daily, the Soup Board is FAB! It was so delicious as always! Ciopino, month’s salad special, Fish and chips and The Shrimp salad were all very good! Our waitress was so very sweet and atop her game! She always brought us water and anything we needed! We’ll be back for sure, SOON!
