Dr Guarneri is a very good surgeon he was very professional he is a no nonsense Dr staff is very nice my experience with him was very good had lumpectomy done went home same day had no discomfort.
To begin my appt. was rescheduled multiple times because of them. Regarding my appointment with Dr. G., I would sum it up with two words: Disrespectful & Offensive! I went in for a hernia test, which I took very SERIOUSLY!!! after discovering a ball by my midsection. After this Dr. runs his test he decides to turn my appointment into a cosmetic visit, stating some very offensive comments to me. A simple "NO, It's not a hernia" would have suffice. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & MINDLESS. NEVER AGAIN!
I can't comment on anything other than the Dr. being on time. After being called the day of my first appointment to reschedule I received another call attempting to reschedule me again. I told them that was fine but I was already rescheduled once. After she heard that she kept the appointment for me. I should've taken this as a sign. I got to the office and waited over an hour and the Doctor wasn't even there. I left and will not be going back.
My first office visit at Dr. Guarneri's Plantation office was very disappointing. Though his staff was pleasant, he was not. It appeared as though he was training his assistants during my visit. His tone towards the young ladies was condescending and unprofessional. After waiting for over an hour to be seen by Dr. Guarneri, he came in the room with me and treated me as though I was a cattle in the herd. He received one star due to his caring assistants. I would not recommend Dr. Guarneri.
As a nurse who has worked at this hospital for 7 years I was absolutely disgusted with how my mother was treated. She went in for surgery & was instructed to get there at 8 am. They did not take her back until 6 pm. 18 hours without eating & sitting in the waiting area. When she came out of surgery a resident updated my father (no, not the surgeon who had them wait an entire day) & could not answer his questions. They sent her home before midnight as she was puking out the door. Disappointing.
