He saved my life in 2015. He always had my best interest at heart. The wonderful staff worked to address all my concerns in a timely manner.
Dr. Guaneri saved by life! After a simple medical procedure went wrong, I was flown to Broward General in a medically induced coma after nothing else could be done for me..or so I was told. Most of my intestines was chopped off by another surgeon and Dr. G (as I like to call him) was able to put everything back together and now I am without a ileostomy bag and living a normal life again.
Probably saved my life by preserving function in a very tricky colon rectal surgery. Didn’t give up and after 5 1/2 hours, I had 2cm marfim to reattach. He is known at the hospital as the best surgeon amd is spoken with awe by the nurses and staff. Trauma surgeon and oncology. He is the best.
Do not go to this bozo. I was scheduled to show up for gallbladder surgery at 8:00 am. I didn’t have surgery until after 5 pm. They sent me home puking and barely awake and alert at 11 pm. Horrible experience. This guy is an a hole Plain and simple
Dr. Guarneri is straight forward, but the very best at what is does. He recently performed surgery on me to remove my gallbladder and I have had almost no pain, scares are healing well and I felt very prepared for the recovery by Dr. Guarneri and the staff at Broward Health. He was recommended to me by multiple nurses including my sister who insist his patients always do great and almost never have any complications. Also waited less than a week for surgery. He is amazing.
Horrible doctor for cancer patients having a mastectomy.
Dr. Guarneri performed hernia repair surgery on my husband. His first appointment to see Dr. Guarneri was a bit of a disaster. He waited over an hour and then was rescheduled for 2 days later. The surgery was scheduled for his first available date which was about 3 weeks later. Surgery went well. The Dr was on time but the hospital staff was not and he was kind enough to let us know. Surgery was scheduled for 8am, he started operation around 11. He was very courteous despite other reviews.
This appointment was a nightmare. We had a 1:00pm appt, took us back to a room at 2:40 and at 3:00pm I asked for my paperwork so I could leave because the doctor had not come in yet and THEN, A DOCTOR came in, not Dr. Guarneri, but his associate! When he entered, he said "I didn't know that there was anyone back here"... (meaning this particular room) He spent 5 minutes at the most with us and that was that. The office staff is a mess and does not seem to have a handle on things at all.
Would not recommend. No respect for time, always late. Very bad bedside manner and somewhat of an attitude conplex. I wish I had researched better. I am going to get all of his worked check out by a more respectable doctor.
