Purchased a new build from Fischer. The builder allowed guardian to pre install their keypad. Very unfortunate considering what their contract says. The most one sided contract I have ever seen. I’m shocked any builder would allow it to be honest. All I say if you’re in a similar situation read the contract! I’ll be taking the keypad out of my new home. I have had Ring for several years as well as ADT in the past and they are far superior and less liability than Guardian. Read the contract!!
Everytime I have to call into customer service or technician line it’s always a bad experience. Don’t forget to always have your credit card number ready because they love to charge for EVERYTHING! Additionally, you would think when you have over 6 accounts with them you would get quality customer service; unfortunately not! Do better Guardian.
I had Guardian for a number of years. We decided to go back to being an unmonitored alarm. When you close down monitoring, error codes appear. Guardian did the installation, but will not tell your installation codes (which they have) to turn it off. So just know when you sign up for Guardian, you will need a new system if you ever leave them. (I see you note below which I appreciate, but don't know a way to DM you on Google reviews)
Technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. Installation was quick and went very smoothly
Guardian’s installer Omar was the best. The most polite, knowledgeable, thorough tech I’ve had in years. He left with great safety suggestions and you could tell he valued his work expertise. Thanks again.
