My Mom’s Assisted Living (Morning Pointe Franklin) uses Guardian. Morning Pointe’s decision to use Guardian , from what I understand, is made at a corporate level in another state. Guardian is horrible at best. As in other reviews they are way more than double other local pharmacy prices and I do understand why… From what I understand, they send the dosages for the days individually. My mother's assisted living facility chooses its pharmacy vendor. After switching to Guardian, her costs doubled and tripled. Reaching "customer service" is a joke, and after several months of trying, I have still not gotten to the bottom of which medications were paid for by hospice, which were submitted to her supplemental insurance, and which we owed for. I don't know how you can avoid using them if the facility selects them, but I hope administrators think twice before switching to this company.
The service from Guardian has been extremely good. The staff is always helpful and will answer any of my questions.
