San Antonio's ONLY Mexico City Kitchen - The MEX without the TEX. All our dishes are cooked in water, there is no lard, no grease no starches or flour in any of our sauces or soups. Instead we cook everything daily from SCRATCH, using only the freshest vegetables, meats, fish and a large variety of chiles. Chile is what gives our unique dishes their individual flavors. Far and away the BEST restaurant in San Antonio. I can't recommend this place enough. Conchinita Pibil. Pozole. Enchiladas verdes. Fideo. Rice pudding. Seriously, I could go on and on mentioning the stuff they do well. The mother (or grandmother) that makes the tres leches cake deserves a medal. It's the best I've ever had. Just go. Stop reading this and go! Everything from the food to the staff to the owners are top notch!! Have a margarita for me!
