There is a bike trail by Guadalupe river that I frequently ride ,there's a beautiful spot that I love ,peaceful and serene ,if you ever get a chance check it out!!!
I like walk but it was so distracting and disappointing to see the amount of garbage in and along the river. I don't know if it ever gets cleaned up but I wish someone would. :(
It was one of my favorite places to walk my dog BUT UNFORTUNATELY it has been ignored by the city during the last few years. Maintenance is extremely poor even though it is a "CASHCOW" for city events. Too trashy and too many homeless live in the river banks and underneath highway overpasses. Several events take place but event organizers are not cleaningup or replacing broken light lamps and broken trees -- litter is everywhere and sections of the park smell like urine and feces.
