Great place. Great atmosphere. Good beans. Not over roasted. Staff was nice and friendly. Enjoyed my time there.
It was good, however I waited 20 minutes for avocado toast. No apologies offered.
Love the Gryphon cafe ! Excellent coffee . Eclectic ambiance. Food is always fresh and tasty. Thoroughly enjoy the company of the regulars.

I'm not the only weirdo who orders drip coffee and Texas chili at 11 in the morning: right after I ordered that, someone else did too! Highly recommended, their chili's a lil' sweet. Gryphon Cafe is a long-time standby, a gem in the neighborhood. Stop in for a fine brew, a sammich, and relax. Perfect spot for a cliche coffeehouse date.
