Great beer at a great brewpub. This is a place where small town folks can socialize with visitors from all over the world and make new friends.

What a great place! While going through Mt. Horeb, we stumbled upon the Grumpy Troll. The hostess and server were very friendly, we got our food fast, and it was VERY good. My wife and I even got a beer which was very tasty. We can't wait to go back and try something else. Great hidden gem!
I was very impressed with the food and the selection of beers. Not all of the brews were winners IMO, and the stout wasn't on tap, but in all, it was a great atmosphere and well worth the trip.
