We stopped in on the 4th after a long day on the road. They were very busy, but we were helped quickly and our food came fast. It was out of this world good. I had the Rueben and my girlfriend had a turkey club. My only complaint, we sat in the rear part of the restaurant and it was really dark. The front was way more cheery.
The food was excellent and our waitress, Kathy, was very attentive. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back.
Always a fun place to stop through! Great food and libations. Ombiance is great!
They weren't grumpy at all. Good food and a great selection of beer.
Complete and utter disregard for food allergies. The host wouldn't even go find out what oil was used for the fryer, just advised me "not to risk it". Then we were served diet Pepsi instead of regular ~ I'm allergic to aspartame. No apologies when I informed the server. "To Go" order contained no napkins or fork for my side order of broccoli, since the host didn't want to bother to find out what oil is used.
Awesome food and very friendly staff! The cheese curds and burgers were so good. I really enjoyed my fresh grapefruit shandy!
Great atmosphere and the food was fantastic! I had the Grumpy Troll Burger and my boyfriend had the Friday night fish fry. Just be ready to wait... there was a constant line, but they tried to get everyone in A.S.A.P and the service didn't suffer.
The beer cheddar soup was the best I've ever had! Great beer, awesome atmosphere and service! Highly recommended.
