I just had major cervical surgery and couldn't be happier with my results. From the front desk registration staff all the way to the nurses taking care of me when I got to my room. God bless the Jamaican woman who cleaned my room� even she was a breath of fresh air. Important to note that I heard many staff laughing and singing which is a good sign when you are in an otherwise bleek atmosphere.
I went to Gbmc Hospital because I was in alot of pain. To find out I was 8 months pregnant and didn't know it. The Doctors and nurses are wonderful. I gave birth to a healthy 8 pounds and 1 ounces baby boy :)
Not that impressed with the nursing staff on 4th floor. RN did not help patient, kept saying the PCT needed to do that. Simple things, getting a washcloth, ice water, repositioning the patient. When a patient asks for something, the RN should assist. She was basically saying its not my job, you have to wait for the other person to do this. What about Teamwork and doing the best for your patient??? Very unimpressed with the quality of care. I believe every employee should share in the care of the patients. Love the stafff here, had my first son in 2013 wonderful experience and now my second son born yesterday! Wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else!
Dr Nauman and Dr Aziz did wonderfully with my procedure and all my nurses and techs took excellent care of me!
