I highly recommend Growth Opportunity Center to anyone looking for good quality, insurance-covered, virtual mental health care! If I could give zero stars I would. Someone struggling with mental health has a terrible time advocating for themselves. It took me years to find the right help. My very first experience, I started therapy at GOC with hopes of also seeing a psychiatrist for a lifelong struggle with depression etc. my therapist told me on the second session that she would be soon leaving for maternity leave. I just got off the phone with the lovely Devon, and she was so kind in giving me contact information for other offices that might be able to get me in sooner and with my insurance. Truly the nicest phone call and customer service, especially since I likely wouldn’t be a customer! Thanks, Devon!
This used to be a 5star psych center. I’ve been going here for over 15 years, but lately their service has steadily been going down hill in quality. I’ve had to call multiple times for prescription refills & for appointments. The majority of calls go to voice mail & at times those calls don’t get returned. Since COVID, the majority of doctors have continued online appointments & few patients are seen in office. We previously used GOC for counseling services for our daughter and loved our therapist. She was easy to contact and responsive to my husband and myself. This time around, I found the communication and response time unacceptable. In the beginning we requested our son to be seen biweekly. I attempted to contact our therapist multiple times to schedule a next appointment and received no response. My son went a month without being seen. I find this completely unacceptable.
