Thieves among them About a month and a half ago I went to Growlers' upstairs bar to listen to some music and have some cocktails. When I was ready to leave I tipped the bartender a generous 30%. She turned out to be a scam artist. She pocketed a twenty then threw the tab and money back at me and mumbled something. I told her I didn't understand her but she just ignored my request. Great food and selection Went there a couple times - twice with my family and once with my friends. They have a very good selection of typical American and unique foods and beer. My dad tried one of their brews (hard to choose because there are so many!) and he really liked it. I would also recommend the gumbo and the calamari. PROS: Good selection and appetizers CONS: None
Excellent Brewery! Summit Station Restaurant & Brewery in Gaithersburg, MD has a great selection of microbrews. I especially enjoy the IPA and the Irvington Pale Ale. You can get a "rack", which is a rack of small samples of 6? beers for a very reasonable price. Also, if you purchase one of their growlers for about $20., you can get it refilled eternally for $7.00 - a great deal! The food I've had has been good too. Good food! The food is delicious! (The fries are tasty and the brownie desert is too die for!) It is a great place to watch football games on Sundays as it isn't too crowded and they have all the games playing!
Great Restaurant I really liked this restaurant. Everyone loved their dishes, especially the dry rubbed chicken and hickory salmon. Even the kids chicken tenders were great. Love the sweet potato fries. The brownie dessert was to die for. The beer had good flavor. The service was excellent. And on a Saturday night we didn't have to wait for a table. I will definitely become a regular here.
