I've been a patient of Dr. G for 25 years--WITH past skin cancer diagnosis from him. But the last two times I called to schedule an appt. because of lesions that matched the ABCDE criteria, he couldn't get me in for three to four MONTHS! Pfft. The last time, the lesion was so bad I went to another dermatologist in the area because I was nervouis waiting 3-4 months, since the lesion was growing quickly. Good thing I did; turned out to be melanoma.
Dr. Grossweiner has an excellent bedside manner of compassion and listening. He is supported in clinic by an equally caring nurse, Carol. Dr. Grossweiner is extremely well educated, keeps up with the latest dermatological findings and trends and attends seminars regularly. Both listen carefully and serve as a talented team literally rotating around the patient in a graceful dance of expediency and good care to assure the patient is uncomfortable as little as possible. Dr Grossweiner is thorough but very conservative; if in doubt he will cut out and remove the mole or lesion in question. The front office staff is not responsive to patient questions or requests.
Professional, knowledgeable, courteous. Followed up personally. Am glad I am under his care.
Great guy! Very friendly, nice staff, and does not rush you. Spends time and explains things.
