I’d like to start off by saying not everyone that I have been introduced to is bad that being said I have had the pleasure of visiting several of gross properties some of them indoors some of them outdoors the ones that I visited indoors I can say is a bad reflection on the property managers And sometimes the maintenance crew of those specific buildings. I’ve never been to a place where they ask me for my ID give me a map and a key to go view the property alone. In my opinion that’s when the property manager has the opportun... read more

One star because zero isn’t an option. I’m leaving this review so the next renter knows what to expect. My signed lease at Alcott Eastpointe requires 30 days’ notice to vacate. It does not say I’ll be charged an additional month of rent for giving less than 30 days. Despite that, management told me they’d add a full extra month to my final bill. That’s not how contracts work. If a fee or penalty isn’t in the lease, you don’t get to invent it later. What I experienced: Surprise billing: An add-on fee not stated in the lease. ... read more

I have lived at multiple Gross Residential properties for years and all of the managers I have interacted with have been wonderful, courteous and up front about renewal costs, maintenance expectations and their communities. I have heard some serious horror stories about other management companies charging an arm and a leg at renewal, or failing to work on maintenance of the buildings to the extreme, and yet I have been blessed with a peaceful experience at Deer Creek Apartments and where I am now.

I would advise against renting from any of their properties as they do not act in good faith in their agreements and they do not follow up on requests in a timely fashion. One of their lease agreements is worded so that any deposit you give, which you need to provide upon applying, is forfeited after three days if you decide to cancel your application. They denied my application the day after I applied over the phone, and had to be pressured to provide physical documentation as proof of my denial. I've already disputed the c... read more

I have worked for many companies as an outside vendor, this summer my son and I were brought on to a few properties and met with a couple other and I have to say that every property manager was very kind and couldn't be more helpful, Pennie is by far the best regional manager I've ever met and the maintenance teams are very knowledgeable and professional. To me this is a great place not only to work for but also a great place to live, they take care of their buildings and they are secured buildings at that.
