Very knowledgeable!!
Dr. Gross has an ability that I have rarely seen in other orthopedic doctors. He understands even the most complex probems, can fix them better than anyone and explains everything so you can understand. I have had both of my shoulders worked on by Dr. Gross (two different problems) and can see the difference in my recovery vs that of other patients and other doctors. As far as I am concerned, he's simply the best!
Can not thank Dr. Gross enough for my shoulder surgery. Despite some earlier reviews he has always been extremely professional, courteous and near on time for all my appointments. Dr. Gross took the time to diagnose and in great detail explain to me what needs to be done to repair it. I could not ask for a better surgery or orthopedic surgeon!
My wife had rotator cuff surgery recently. The doctor never once came to see her pre or post op. It makes you feel like all he cared about was getting your money. It felt like a puppy mill. They bring you in for surgery, have a nurse go over all the pre & post surgery questions, and then get you out. We had questions the nurse couldn't answer because he was not the surgeon. Dr Gross is an arrogant doctor who has ZERO patience. We called and never got a call back after surgery.
Nasty Arrogant Doctor. Who needs that? After Rotator Cuff Surgery and a broken arm and Rotator Cuff injury after 1 year of surgery re-injured. I really don't know if I can't handle his Pompous attitude anymore. Is the grass greener on the other side? His staff is EXCELLENT ! Office is run like a well oiled machine.
The first appointment he rambled off the conditions I had after my x-rays & never explained what was actually happening. The second appointment, after quitting dance, gym, and home workouts to just focus on my PT, my condition did not get better. I asked him if I can get an MRI to get a closer look & he jumped down my throat, saying I doubted his expertise & then, in spite, scheduled me for 3 months out while I'm still in great pain and poor quality of life. Horrible. I wish I could write more.
I could hardly bear weight on my knee. He spent less than two minutes with me. He did an X-ray and said it didn't show anything. He told me to stay off of my feet as much as possible and in 2-3 weeks I would be fine. He couldn't tell me what was wrong. One month later, no improvement and I'm looking for another doctor and some answers.
I had arthroscopic meniscus surgery by him resulting in an injury to my calf muscle that he would not address. He didn't come in to see me before or after surgery.Had severe pain in recovery and couldn't stand, was told by his PA that pain was in my head, when in fact it was because of the injury to my muscle. He is arrogant. I would never recommend him to anyone. He ruined my leg and my quality of life has been immensely affected by this. He deserves zero stars.
Simple carpal tunnel procedure. He has a terrible bedside manner both before operation and after.would never return to him or recommend to anyone.
