Grits Grill is a decidedly southern place to have a great breakfast or lunch year round. It's open till 2 pm daily. Most of the cooking is done right behind the diner style front counter. Eggs any style, chipped beef, omelettes, hotcakes and of course grits (cooked just about any style) are breakfast specialties and served anytime. Lunch is full of specials, deli offerings and big, juicy burgers. Owned locally. Staff is well known for being warm and friendly. Come have breakfast with us anytime!

I’m seriously at a loss to all of these reviews. Food was beyond mediocre at BEST. Community everything...condiments, salt shakers, butter...even without Covid best practices would have those being wiped down between customers. Sure hope the person using them before you washed their hands after using the restroom. The “gourmet” grits came with a fist full of cold shredded cheddar. When the toast is the most excellent part of your meal...eat elsewhere.

Thank you for the feedback. It is our expectation that tables and condiment containers are wiped down between seatings with a bleach solution before being sprayed with disinfectant. We will share your feedback with staff and reiterate our expectations of our staff. As for the food, we're sorry if you were disappointed. We try hard to deliver a good product with a limted staff during a difficult health crisis. Our apologies for you're not receiving that.
Very busy due to social distancing requirements. Food was a slow coming from the kitchen. Waitress and staff were extremely friendly though which made up for the slowness. 4.7 stars
best breakfast in OBX !!!
I have eaten here for years! It is my go to for breakfast every time I go to the beach! The lunch menu is excellent as well! I have always had great food and wonderful service!
Well worth the drive to Nags Head to eat here! Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly! Would eat there again!!
