I went to the Gritman ER because my drink had been spiked and I was having a very bad reaction. I believe the nurse that helped me was named Kim, she was incredibly rude. She raised her voice with me while I could hardly comprehend my surroundings. I was having severe muscle spasms and accidentally kicked her, which she then yelled at me for. I went into the emergency room for bad ear pain. They did nothing, told me information I already knew, and charged me $806. It was a terrible choice to come in. Thanks a lot

Update to add that if you have Blue Cross of Idaho, their in-network discount sucks for Gritman. For someone who has insurance through one of the bigger employers in Moscow, you'd think you could get a good in-network discount at the biggest medical provider in town. Literally drive up to a LabCorp so you can get a $500 discount on something you would only get $60 on at Gritman. Do not go here for blood work! Do not go here for blood work! First, I couldn't schedule an appointment because central scheduling was too busy to answer the phone, but I was assured that I would get in quickly and be able to find a parking spot without an appointment. There was one other person in the lobby, and I waited over half an hour to get called back. Then I get a bill for over $700. ER Care is subpar and billing is a nightmare. Apparently insurance doesn’t cover certain things or part of certain things and then when you are 2000 dollars in debt because they can’t figure out that insurance claims were supposed to be sent out they send you to collections. Avoid at all costs. There are a few staff members that are actually decent at their jobs but they are few and far between.
