Do not go here for blood work! First, I couldn't schedule an appointment because central scheduling was too busy to answer the phone, but I was assured that I would get in quickly and be able to find a parking spot without an appointment. There was one other person in the lobby, and I waited over half an hour to get called back. Then I get a bill for over $700. ER Care is subpar and billing is a nightmare. Apparently insurance doesn’t cover certain things or part of certain things and then when you are 2000 dollars in debt because they can’t figure out that insurance claims were supposed to be sent out they send you to collections. Avoid at all costs. There are a few staff members that are actually decent at their jobs but they are few and far between.
Went to Gritman for a conference. Hotel staff were nice, catered food from the hotel kitchen was amazing, and the man in the corner by the emergency area was so helpful and sweet.
I needed some lab work done on Sunday and had a fantastic experience. There was no line of any kind anywhere. The phlebotomist (Oscar Hoffman) is my hero. I am a terrible blood draw usually, and have had some real nasty experiences in the past, even with an ultrasound machine. I told Oscar exactly which vein and how they wind up getting it, and he literally got that needle in there the first time and before I even realized he had stuck me! Thank you for a friendly, quick, and painless experience!
If we had any other choices that were in network for our insurance, we would choose anywhere else. We have lived here for nearly 25 years and unfortunately in the last few years Gritman medical center has become a place that puts profit over patient's health. We had to bring in our son to the ER recently for lower abdominal pain. The doctor and nurse acted abominable.
