Great company to build your dream house
Bought a GRIT construction home in 2020 and have been very happy with the product! High end design and finishes. Any time I have had any issue (even well after home warranty expired) GRIT has stood by their project and kindly offered me prompt service, advice and referrals. Would 100% buy a GRIT home again. Update July 2025. GRIT construction, specifically Blake, continues to exceed expectations. Always responsive and reliable for help, even well outside of warranty. 10/10
I contracted GRIT over one year ago with completed soil testing and permits ready to go for a multi unit building. The COO Jerry Ulrich requested additional site testing and soil testing and through him it was suggested that the soil, despite Harmon Deutch Architect's testing and design, would require shoring with the foundation. This resulted in a redraw and repermitting process along with the loss of square footage along one side of the building. I scored big with grit. I'm a huge eagles fan and so is the owner Sean. We watch games together whenever we get a chance. We're going to the super bowl Go Birds.
Grit is reliable and the crew is great to work with! Blake in particular has been really helpful every time we had a problem. We would call/text Blake if something came up, and he'd be here as quick as he could (sometimes within 20 minutes). We experienced quick turn around with any issues and ensuring the problem was solved correctly.
