A restaurant for seasonal, local, delicious food, grown by our farmers and served with love in the historic Shamrock house in the Whiteaker. At Grit we are completely devoted to food, food sovereignty, people, laughter, love, this community and eating. We offer a bi-weekly-changing, fixed four-course dinner for $35. An additional menu is also available.

Food as great as anything you would get in San Francisco, New Orleans or Seattle and Portland it is fantastic
Glory to food. The attention, creativity, and love infused in each dish is felt, and Foodgasim of texture, taste, and burst always flow. Atmosphere warm, inviting, like you've been invited to the coolest dinner party and your part of the family. Such a treat to watch food genius at work in open kitchen, and artful design and art all about. I am president of the Grit Fan club. Join the club!
This was the best meal I've had in a REALLY long time. I seriously wanted to hug everyone in the room after I ate, it was that amazing. I had the grilled ribeye with black truffle vinaigrette and potato sorrel gratin with a dandelion salad w/ goat cheese and beets. And the atmosphere was romantic and cozy, you could bring a date there, a group of friends or even a client! It's a lovely little place, I can't wait to try their dessert too!
